Suryakumar Ashok Yadav is an Indian international cricketer, who plays for the Indian cricket team in the limited overs format. He was born in 14 September 1990.

He plays for the Mumbai cricket team and for Mumbai Indians in the Indian domestic cricket.

As of 1 November 2022, Suryakumar Yadav is ranked as the number one batsman in the world in T20I

He is a right-handed middle order batter and an part-time right-arm spin bowler. He made his T20I debut for India on 14 March 2021 against England. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India on 18 July 2021 against Sri Lanka

Yadav's family is from Hathouda village of Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. His father migrated from Ghazipur to Mumbai, for job in the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.

He made his first-class cricket debut for Mumbai cricket team in Ranji trophy 2010-11, he scored 73. In the next season of 2011-12, he was the leading run scorer for his team with the 754 runs in 9 matches, it includes double century against Odisha cricket team, in 3rd match of season's.
